Ryuunosuke can almost hear him think, and he nearly feels bad when Kazuma breaks his focus to look at him. (Nearly. Because he doubts, even after all this time and everything he’s seen, that a single look into Kazuma’s eyes could make him feel anything besides warmth.)

I'm bored, I don't have energy to devote to my WIPs, and a shockingly dead-on prompt in the Three Sentence Ficathon on DreamWidth has brought this to the forefront of my mind again, so:
I'm afraid it's time to share the Greatest Terrible Thing I have ever written.
This is the product of me pulling a series of writing prompts over a decade ago in effort to get writing again. It was meant to be For My Eyes Only. I don't mean to suggest that Peter Jackson's Middle-Earth movies were a drug-smuggling front, nor that the Mythopoeic Society is anything but an academic committee, nor that my friend Emily has an Aslan-in-a-Bucket.
