Chuckling a little bit, the man turned around and plucked a single daisy from the ground.
“Then it’ll be our little secret, okay?” He said gently, tucking the flower behind his ear with a smile.

In which 9 year old Cale, after turning down the various tutors his father had painstakingly selected for him, finally agrees to study under a tutor, getting tired of the constant nagging.
To his surprise, his new teacher is.. surprisingly nice? He seemed to have seen through his trash act, and he sympathizes with him. Starved and craving the affection and validation he doesn't receive from at home, Cale finds it from his new teacher and Cale views him as a trusted friend. Everything is good, until it's not.

Summary
AKA a few are forced to come face to face with the fact that they didn't know the young master Cale very well at all until he said a few things without thinking in the heady aftermath of a very bad time.
AKA Basen and Cale are invited to the 2nd prince's 20th birthday party. Many others are invited as well, including one Venion Stan and his lackeys. They're already planning to leave early and attend their own, much more entertaining party in the guest wing when Venion spots the mouthy redhead, alone, already several glasses deep, and gets an idea.
Later, Basen and Hans go looking for him. They do not like what they find.
Thankfully, neither does anyone else.
