‘Year after year, Valentine's Day comes like clockwork. Year after year, my once a year job comes to pester me. You would think a cute little cherub would come fluttering with a cute bow and arrow to pair lovers up, right? I don't blame you. It's a classic tale as old as time, but Cupid isn't what you think they are. In reality, I look like your average unassuming 30 year old man. And my bow and arrow? Traded them out for a nice lightweight pistol decades ago.
This year was no different, making my way through countless cities matching up lovers. That is until I found myself working in the city I lived in. I had just paired up a yellow canary with a flame Nymph. I thought they would have been a cute pair. I mean, they were clearly interested in each other and just were awkwardly tiptoeing around it, so I shot them. ‘

Grian is the son of Aphrodite and the Cupid that works around the Hermitopia area and some surrounding small towns. He finds himself one valentines day in the park in the center of Hermitopia paring up couples and working as always until he finds a very handsome stranger.
