"If this is what living with you is like, I might never leave."
The words slip out before you can think, tumbling casually between bites. For a moment, it seems like Itachi doesn't react, but then you notice it. The slight pause in his hand. The faintest flicker of something in his expression.
"Careful," he murmurs, his tone quiet but charged. "I might hold you to that."
