Summary
Midoriya didn't mean to fall, but he refused to drag Aizawa down with him.
A rooftop battle goes wrong, leaving Midoriya injured, delirious, and hanging over the edge with only Aizawa's capture weapon keeping him steady. But when Midoriya realizes Aizawa is struggling to keep his grip, he makes a choice he doesn't expect to survive.
Aizawa refused to let him go... so he'll take the choice out of his hands.
Or... Midoriya falls over the edge of a roof, only Aizawa's scarf holding him up. The self-sacrificial idiot thinks they'll both die if Aizawa doesn't drop him, so he ends up in a freefall.
