Summary
Her family usually stayed in Hawkins for the summer, something they always did ever since Heather was a kid, because it was easy. They’d go to the country club, or send her off to camp for a couple weeks with her friends, and as she got into her teen years, they let her run off with her friends for those two months.
This summer, though, was different; her family had been invited to a resort almost across the state by a new friend that her dad had made on a business trip a couple months ago.
And, honestly? Heather hated it.
