Summary
The Institute may be gone, but that doesn't stop Deacon from getting himself injured in the dumbest way possible and landing himself on bed rest. Alone with his thoughts, he comes to terms with certain feelings he'd spent almost a year trying to ignore.
Sure enough, the subject of those thoughts wanders right in to check on him. Maybe for once, he's ready to throw caution to the wind.
