Summary
A year has passed since our heroes solved the case that brought them together. Life has been relatively quiet—a few minor cases, nothing major. Realizing how much time has gone by, Basil decides to propose to Dianne. They practically live together already; Dianne stays at his place most days. It should be a simple formality, right?
Wrong. Basil, the perfectionist, can't bring himself to ask casually. He wants the proposal to be meaningful, but how? Every time he works up the courage, something interrupts him!
Then, bam! A series of mysterious murders. Mice, rats, and other creatures are found drained of blood each night, baffling even Scotland Yard's top detectives. Our heroes are assigned to the case. Will Basil find the courage to propose? Will they catch the killer before it's too late?
