Summary
"Duncan knows that what he is about to do could be considered petty, and perhaps even childish, but when he weighs the pros and cons of his next action, he finds that the positives far outweigh the negatives. An old lady can live without some Annie’s mac n’ cheese; and anyway, the woman had not yet bought it. Easily, she could misinterpret it on her bad memory and forget she hadn’t picked it up."
When Duncan spots a younger man in his village of otherwise older residents, he finds that he is willing to do out of character things, like steal mac n' cheese, to get his attention.
