Mileven has always hated Byler. Theres no particular reason, its not like Byler fucked his mom or killed his cat Lucy 3 years ago when she went missing. They found out Mrs. Westward stole her a year ago anyways.
He just hates the way his skin heats up around him ,how his insides feel cold everytime his in his peripheral vision. He makes him sick. In a bad way of course. Nothing more.
