This story is an AU that takes place in a different timeline where Orihime dies young and becomes a Soul Reaper.
There are so many implications when taking Orihime out of the events of the Bleach we all know and love, but I’m not going to address those in this story. In order to tell this tale, I have to ignore those and just get on with it. But, you may find some characters alive, that otherwise died in the canon arcs. You can attribute those to ‘butterfly wing changes’ in the events that took place without her there. So, I hope you can set your preconceived notions aside and just enjoy this little tale.
