Summary
For five months, Stolas has been living rough, by his standards. Sleeping on a couch, forced to take on a part-time job at a discount tool store just to help make ends meet, eating cheap foods and stealing from grocery stores with his boyfriend. His once-high standards being eroded like a river over sand dunes, having lost all the respect of his peers and his daughter not too long ago. One night, after drinking all the booze in the house, he makes a half-joking suggestion.
"Let's rob a liquor store!"
Alcohol has a funny way of eroding one's values into dirt, especially when you combine it with the atmosphere and every-man-for-himself culture of Hell. Being boyfriends with a man who already had poor morals and values, he should've expected Blitzo to be prepared with a half-baked plan whilst half-baked when he spoke up. Stolas doesn't want to hurt anybody- he just wants some liquor; Blitzø seems convinced that the two of them can pull this heist off. So why not travel three rings down in a stolen car, armed to the teeth while the former is half-drunk, the latter half-stoned? When in Hell, act like a demon... or so they say.
