Summary
Billie is a 23 y/o human girl from earth who lived a mundane life but accidently got herself involved in a hidden magical world that exists just beneath our feet. She thought that she was handling being forced into the role of a chosen one, working at her adopted family's restaurant, and working on getting accepted into a culinary school all at once, just fine! ... until she started changing with the moon phases. Despite never being bitten, she's been infected with lycanthropy. And for the past 3 - 4 months she's been hiding that fact from both her adopted family....and her friends who've already been helping her with being the chosen one. "We already have so much on our plates, and if I'm meant to be the chosen one, I'd rather not burden them too with this."
It's just that her adopted dad, Hester, has been noticing his kiddo acting differently. And he cares too much to ignore the blaring warning signs.
