Summary
Hiiro was in the early throes of adolescence, only 12 years old, and was struggling to understand the new experiences that came with it.
He knew his brother was very smart, a genius held in high regard by those around them. While it would have only been natural to come to Rinne about his concerns, the unique positions in their family had made that option feel impossible.
Now, however, Hiiro was essentially receiving permission to breach the topic. Or, perhaps more accurately, the topic had been breached for him.

Niki rambles, not noticing when the kid bent down and put a hand around his ponytail and yanked it. "Ow!"
"Ya talk a lot." the kid comments, smiling like Niki's the most entertaining thing he's seen all day. He probably is considering this kid seems to live in the woods. "You're from the city?"
Niki nods, side eyeing the hand still wrapped around his hair. "Y-yeah. I'm Niki Shiina."
The kid hums, repeating Niki's name a few times before saying "Amagi. Rinne Amagi."
