Summary
"What are you?" Scott asks, honest in his curiosity. Whatever Eldritch horror Grian seems to be, he can be hurt. Scott can hurt him, then he can run, then he can... Win. Again. And then what?
"I'm Grian, obviously."
"No, Grian's dead. I saw the lightning. I put the sword though his stomach myself. I won."
"You did." Grian smiles. Unperturbed by Scott's sword, he holds out his hand and grins. "Now, before you throw yourself off of Magical Mountain, wouldn't you like to see your prize?"

Scott has won Last Life. He receives his prize from a dead friend, but it really would be lovely if he could figure out what it is before the terrible cloaked Watchers attempt to kill him.
