  Summary

  Occurs in an alternate universe where McQueen never replaced himself with Cruz and ended up losing to Storm. Also, this takes place in 2024/2025 because I just had to do this ;-;

  Actual summary:

  It’s the 2017 next gens 7th-8th year on the track, with Jackson Storm still being the long reigning champion. Just how long will that last when the only model of his kind, Acer Racecliff, enters the track?

  Or

  After seeing the success of their previous model race cars, Next Gen decides to make more, with more improved speed and aerodynamics, which are projected to come out in 2027. However, one comes out in 2024 instead.
