Summary
After three years of escaping the mountain, escaping the Wendigos, escaping death itself, Sam has finally been able to return to the routine of what once was her life — working, spending time outdoors, and living day to day with her girlfriend Jessica in a place far away from where it all happened years ago. Sam can admit that, fortunately, the nightmares have stopped being so frequent in her sleep.
So when Joshua Washington shows up at her door with a crazy plan and a pitiful apology, she doesn’t quite know how to react.
