Mei didn't show up to school for a week. It happened, sometimes—Miriam knew Mei had a trimonthly checkup with her family about her panda, and after finals she would just retreat home to rest—but it was a week of fair sunlight, warm temperatures, and a pastel-like, ethereal quality that settled over the city. Mei never missed the turning for the spring. She'd drag Miriam out on the roof of the school, the sun washing pale and gold as it caught budding green leaves, and sometimes she'd just bring her sketchpad and Miriam would bring her headphones and they'd lose themselves to the low, buzzing hum of the city as the air warmed.
But Mei didn't show up.

It’s early 2019, 16 years after pandapocalypse 2002 and 10 years since 4*Town’s breakup. And! the sixteen year anniversary of her and her best friends in the entire world’s friendship. If you think that’s a long name believe me the other name they made up for it was way longer.
Since then, Mei has now learned how to control her Panda better and is a freshly turned 32 year old woman. Learning how to navigate adult life while looking back at her teenage days fondly.
Her and her friends Miriam, Tyler, Abby, Priya are still together and better than ever! Even after them growing up was supposed to be a sign of them growing apart and starting different lives. But nope, these idiots are together for life.
So it comes out of nowhere on a Thursday afternoon where out of nowhere 4*Town announced their reunion tour. It was on Robraire’s Twitter of all platforms. Mei and her friends are ecstatic, even more so due to the skydome now being properly rebuilt.
Now Mei has to navigate her bittersweet nostalgia of her childhood and short lived trauma, with her friends supporting her and them finding themselves.

In the Meng Wei household there are 9 children and 3 grandchildren with a 43 year gap from the eldest child to the youngest grandchild. From the kids themselves there’s a 25 year gap from eldest to youngest child. As people do, the family split into cliques. The 2 eldest children, the middle 4, and the youngest 3.
They all hang out separately and usually eat their meals in different dining rooms, often bringing some of their friends to the house for dinner.
The family got along well enough but Meng Wei was tired of not being able to see all her babies at once. So she decided to host a mandatory family only dinner so that she could see all of them for dinner instead of the monthly family talent show.

This story takes place after “Darkvison(s)” The party has saved Shadani and killed Amelie. Shadani as in the aforementioned story is not ok mentaly and has shown obvious antisocial behaviors and has regressed into herself. This bothers all the adults around her but does not deter Jin lee, a 6 year old half orc who she met and traveled with for months. He just wants to play and she is the only person in his house within his age range as his youngest relative is 13 and shadani is 8.
