Summary
They say that fate brings people together. In Ibz and Michah's case it was slavery and their slave-owner, Nik, that brought them all together. In a society that doesn't care about slaves and one that rules with an iron fist, what will become of these slaves and their owner who yearn to be more than just what society has laid our their role to be? Watch as Ibz, Micah and Nik meandre their way through high society and its eventual pit-falls. Watch as they overcome their own issues to rise above and be part of a much greater, more important issue. Watch them succeed despite all the fates lining up against them.
