Summary
He felt weird. It was interesting, to say the least. Like there was a tiny weight on his chest that was strapped to him and he couldn’t unclip it. Merlin started feeling it early in the morning but it got lighter as time went on. Now, here in the hall with lots of people talking and eating, too many hands with knives to keep track of, it started to get heavier. The invisible person in charge of the harness keeps slipping more and more behind the strap and it’s getting too tight.
Merlin has a lot on his plate, more than anyone really knows. So one night at a feast, he starts to panic. He always forgets Kilgharrah can telepathically speak to him, and somehow the stupidily vague, extremely unhelpful lizard knew that something was just wrong.
