Was it all some fucked up dream concocted from in-between doses and drinks?The increasing staccato of a heart rate monitor grabbed his attention and clearly the attention of someone beyond his ability to sense. He could hear steps rapidly approaching and voices shouting things that never quite made enough sense to be words.
Someone was coming and some 16 year old from the depths of him told him he needed out and away.
He needed to run because there was something evil that stood between Kurt Wagner and a sedative.
