So Natalia waits with Enola for her brothers to arrive, resulting in a reunion with Sherlock Holmes. It's been years since the two have seen each other. Years since he denied a courtship before it could even begin. Now he's the great detective he wants to be, and there's a ring on Natalia's hand.

In 1998, a fourteen year old school boy, Sherlock Holmes, gets moved up two years to the first year of Sixth Form. During his two years at Sixth Form, Sherlock encounters a charming, golden haired boy, only two years older than himself. He always proudly wore his school uniform, unlike Sherlock, whose red tie would always hang loosely around his neck. This sixteen year old boy was named John Watson. As the two continue on through Sixth Form, they get to find out more about each other, as well as themselves. Life is hard for both boys during these stages of life. As they get to know each other, a tension grows between them. Of something unspoken.
In 2000, Sherlock and John both start out at university. As their friendship has grown throughout Sixth Form, they decide to go to the same university together. John chooses to study medicine while Sherlock decides to choose chemistry and criminology. Consequently, the two boys share a dorm together throughout university. Neither of them know where their lives can lead.

Y/N Holmes had never fit.
Not at home in the sprawling Sussex house with its cold marble floors and colder expectations. Not at her private school, where girls wore blazers like armor and smiled like knives. Not even in her own family — a genetic misprint between two prodigies and a mother who could recite Greek tragedies in the original language before breakfast.
Mycroft Holmes had been reading the Times at age three. Sherlock Holmes had dismantled his first alarm clock at seven and never looked back. Y/N Holmes once failed a maths test so badly the teacher gently asked if she’d taken anything.
She had her father’s brain. Which was to say, a perfectly normal one. Unfortunately, normal was a crime in the Holmes household.
So when she was caught behind the gym with a girl from the local public school, backs against cold brick, sharing a joint and laughing too loudly, it was not treated as teenage stupidity. It was treated as a failure.

Enola Holmes set him up. To get a flatmate whom she deemed fit enough to manage and put up with her brother. Sherlock didn’t expect to have to give up so much of his space, mentally and physically, for his new flatmate. He also didn’t expect to fall for him. Especially at the exact time that the 1885 Labouchere law came out, dubbing ‘gross indecency’, with or without proof, an offence and at worst, homosexual acts were punishable by a life of imprisonment. With the police constantly on his trail, and a growing demand of money piling up, Sherlock is faced with a worrying case which Enola just cannot stay out of!
Time is of the essence and with time comes change, but whether one can adapt and thrive to change is a different mystery.
Will he finally let Watson in? Or will Moriarty get to him first?

Mrs. Holmes’ screams immediately alarmed everyone. As she heard her husband coming down the stairs, she ran out the door. “SIGER! Rosie has shrunk our baby!!!”It's certainly not every day you get picked up by the hair by a three-year-old baby, but for Sherlock it was barely Monday morning.
