Since you’ve been so unsatisfied, I mean.” She knew she could no longer conceal her throbbing, pounding animal excitement; prayed that Karen was too enthralled now to notice the violent nature of her feeling -- the overwhelming, itchy need to tear her apart.
“Sweet thing,” Karen chuckled fondly, striking the benevolent attitude she must always fall into with Eve. “I confess, I did wonder about you… Would you like to kiss me again?”
Eve nearly lunged at her, her grasp at her facade growing weaker with every passing second. She gathered her restraint and pressed their lips together gently. She licked softly at Karen’s lips, and her mouth opened.
She imagined she could taste Margo in it.

Eve's plans take another turn as she begins to work for Margo.

No, Margo Channing has to be utterly and irrevocably destroyed, her force of attraction annihilated, in order for her to appropriate the energy of pure desire crystallized within her for her own purposes. It struck her one evening, when she noticed a cigarette butt missing from her nightstand ashtray: there was a stranger living in her house. There was a stranger living in her house, who wore her hand-me-downs and spoke like her and walked like her, and looked -- more and more every day -- like her. Perhaps she should’ve felt invaded. She felt fury. Beautiful, young Eve had shown up a blank slate, and stolen Margo’s self out from under her feet. And no one had noticed, not even her. Margo could eat her alive.

Eve could sense a shift as they cleaned themselves up. Smoothed out their satin and reapplied their lipstick, and tried to stand straight. There was no coming back from this once they stepped out into the world. Everyone could see something happened. In the mirror, even Margo, perfectly composed Margo, couldn’t put herself back together completely. Her hair still matted and sticky in places, pink blotches still staining her cheeks and neck, and bruises on her throat.
