Feeling as his eyes watered and his voice wobbled. “I’m relieved, Frank. I’m relieved she’s done with me. I’m so tired of feeling guilty, of feeling selfish. I’m just happy it’s finally done…does that make me a bad person? Am I a bad person, Frank?”
Basically, David sees the kiss and realizes that he’s also moving on. He also realizes he has a thing for Frank, who is oblivious and kind of an dick.
