Summary
It begins with a song followed by silence.
With a father who feared grief more than death, and a son who suffered because of it.Centuries later, in a London tavern in 1889, two strangers meet again: Dream, endless, unknowable and Hob Gadling: an immortal man, impossibly hopeful. Both of them stubborn. Both of them aching for something they can’t quite name.
What begins as curiosity slowly becomes something deeper: a love that stretches through time. Through change. Through laughter and loss, through the building of a family and the beauty of choosing to live fully.
This is the story of Morpheus and Hob, of dreams and devotion, of quiet conversations and fierce promises, of love blooming in the cracks left by sorrow.
