Speaking to Doc again after what must have been decades was a terrifying thought; his processors a scrambling mess if he even tried to think of what he'd say.
But he'd told the little Outsider he was going to be brave and Momo would sooner be scrap metal than lie to someone that fluffy. Braveness meant facing your fears, be they metal eating bacteria or figuring out what to say to Doc.
Didn't mean he couldn't put it off a bit first though.

there's a Soft One living in the slums after being found by the little fluffy Outsider. don't ask how they're here, no one knows. despite communication being limited to gestures and vague noises without B12 present they seem to have taken a shine to the resident grumpy owner of a certain laundromat. much to the (alleged) annoyance of said companion. but as the Soft One's presence atop the dryers becomes commonplace, a sweeter side to Kosma comes to the surface. of course, Kosma would never admit to having a soft spot for the Soft One and their strange habits.

Walled City 99 is opened up to the Outside, and it's ceiling is exposed to the sky, for the 1st time in over 7 million years! All the Outsiders, the Slum residents, and the MIdtown citizens get to see Sunlight for the first time ever! The different threats they all have had, are at least mitigated, if not fully eliminated. But what now? Do they stay in the city with sunlight and clouds over their heads? Do they go out into the Wild Outside to see what it's like? How do all kinds of relationships, friendship and otherwise, develop and evolve with this huge change in their lives and surroundings? Friends can reunite, responsibilities can be eased, or at least change. How do they solve other problems and what choices do they make as their lives continue?
Because life isn't just about "living happily ever after" when one big goal or challenge is met; it's about how you grow from that and continue on with your life, and what choices you make next! Life keeps going for all these wonderful characters, so This is the story of One possible Way that they Continue on with their Lives...
