So far, the plot is as follows. Emma, the chosen one, is living with her estranged relatives, the Dursleys. She finds out about magic, and as the plot in Harry Potter goes, Emma is taken to Hogwarts and starts learning about magic. In a year of many changes, one thing remains the same; how much she hates Regina.
Regina lives with her mother and father. She loves her father dearly, but her mother is manipulative and cruel. She threatens to send her to Leopold, the man interested in marrying her, for a large sum of money if she doesn't get good grades and befriend Emma. Of course, Cora has all the right friends in all the right places; Cora is more like Lucious and Henry is more like Narcissa. She tries her best to make friends with Emma, but accidentally comes on too strong.
Etc etc; you get the point. I will totally write this in more detail if people want to read it. I would switch POV's evenly, and even though abuse is mentioned it will NEVER be graphic. The story will start just from Emma's POV, but once Regina is introduced we will get some backstory. Regina is my fav, so don't you worry about how much she'll appear in the story. I plan to cover all 7 years at Hogwarts, following the plot of Harry Potter.
