Summary
Skipping grades to join the latest crop of Beacon Academy recruits seemed like such a good idea on paper. Ruby had already eclipsed her fellow classmates at Signal by a huge margin, and was giddy to see the fruits of her labor pay off so soon. But surrounded by youths ostensibly her own age, yet not, made making friends more than a tad insurmountable enough for an awkward girl’s already awful social skills.
Which might be why in her naive search for answers, she ventures out to a local “hook up” spot to try and learn some pointers about being more mature.
A certain familiar voice on the other side of the hole in the wall more than ready to help walk her though the steps.
