Summary
Meeshell Mermaid lives a desolate existence at her school, Hans Christian Academy, designed specifically for children from his own fairy-tales. They all meet tragic fates at the end of their stories and Meeshell is no exception. She's used to it, frankly. However, she meets a fairy; her first time ever seeing one, and makes a rash wish. It gets granted, and it sends Meeshell on a quest to find her own happy-ending, wondering if such a thing is even possible.
