Brooke could never explain the pure euphoria that came from dancing together, Vanessa always molding his body to fit his, their hands fitting perfectly as they held each other. The queen had the ability of making any song hers and simply letting goals she got swept by the moment, it was hypnotic and Brooke always felt privileged of being able to see it and even embrace it as they danced to whatever they heard of even in the silence.
It was magic.
Dancing barefoot to a sound check song as they waited for the rest of the cast to come, Vanjie and Brooke taking the backseat and allowing Jose and Brock this small moment of privacy. The endlessly spinning each other around, grabbing the other by the hip, silly as neither took it seriously, breaking free to do some solo moves before coming back and resuming. The stage was completely empty and barely illuminated, making it as intimate as it came.

And Vanessa? Vanessa is nowhere to be seen.
(A story about a holiday, a breakup, friendships and relationships in a post-graduate world, careers, navigating life after university, figuring out what it means to be an adult, and coming to terms with the fact that we really are not nineteen forever.)

Brooke needed a new logistic manager eventually after the latest one couldn’t take Brooke’s cockiness and resigned. She was hearing good things about Vanessa, so hiring her seemed really wise.They were gonna meet eventually, but what if she really fell on her lap like an angel from the sky?
