Summary
Vi Cain prides herself in two things. Her grit and her consistency. Growing up in the rough lanes of Zaun tended to do that to someone. It’s what made being a Pitcher came so naturally to her. But after a terrible 2021 season, then back to back season ending injuries, her pride is hit. With her contract a year away from expiring can she pick herself out from the rumble and show her clubhouse that she belongs or will she crash and burn?
Caitlyn Kiramman prides herself in two things. Her perceptiveness and her adaptability. She prides herself in being able to read batters, and breaking them down. Prides herself in being able to adapt with any pitch thrown at her. But what happens when her adaptability is muddled and her sharp sense of judgment is blinded after some recent loses? Will she be able to pull herself out of the dirt and prove herself still fit for the Major Leagues, or will the wright of her grief weigh too heavy on her?
A Pitcher who has a point to prove after three seasons of terrible play. A Catcher with two legacies weighing heavy on her shoulder. Will they overcome the challenges throw at them or will they buckle and strike out?
