Summary
The Hamlet stands together or it falls apart.
The Heir tells the most pious of the residents to, as Sarmenti puts it, "Get off your high horses" and at least tolerate the Abomination's presence in their midst. They don't need to swear vows of fealty to Bigby, but at least trust him enough to travel into the dark places as a united front.
That could be asking a lot of the religious folk and of Bigby himself. Time and effort will be needed to build such bridges. Sarmenti is not much of a carpenter, but a lute is wooden enough, yes?
