Summary
It all started a little over four thousand years ago, back when Mesopotamia was a thriving empire. That was when the earliest records of Dragons had been dated to. Dragons were nothing more than fables. Stories told by elders to scare children into obedience, or to inspire people to strive to be more than they were. However, the truth was that Dragons were very much real. Sometime around the Middle Ages, dragons vanished from the world. No explanation, no evidence of their existence left behind other than the countless stories. Or so most believers thought.
But the truth was a little bit different. Dragons were gone from the world. There was no explanation to why they vanished. But they did leave something behind before they left. A blessing. One that would take almost another thousand years before it would reach its full potential. Those with Dragon Blood were born. The Dragon-Blooded, also sometimes called Dragonborn, were always destined for greatness. Leaders, champions, generals. Many of them had Dragon blood in them.
And once quirks appeared, so too did the full potential of Dragon Blood. This is the story of one such child, gifted with Dragon Blood coursing through his veins. And how he saved the world.
