“i’m sorry.” the words tumble from richie’s parted lips in a gasp. he doesn’t once look up at eddie nor the look of pure heart break on his features. he feels the sadness radiate from him. or maybe that’s richie’s own self pity. “i-i,” the words never come locked away in his throat the chambers trapped him so tightly he couldn’t even scream out
eddie scoffs, backing himself away as he stares slits at richie. his nails dig into the side of his thigh tracing the outline of the scar. a permeant reminder he never would forget.
“no you’re not. you meant it.” eddie sneers face red with anger. the hurt he once felt was now spilling over with the on coming anger. he could feel the frustration choke him.
richie doesn’t argue.
he didn’t mean for the words to leave his mouth attached with such malicious it caused eddie to stagger back, pushing himself to look at richie. he didn’t mean for his words to hurt eddie.
pinching his fingers into his skin he attempts to swallow a breath, it still stuck in his throat.
the silence frustrates eddie, his foot stomping against the tile floor.
richie feels like crying.
