Summary
Arlo always felt like she had to hide. She was always too loud, and her tattoos and piercings were too out there, especially for a company like Joja Corp. She had built such a strong community in university, but after she graduated it was as if everything crashed around her -- she was starting to think maybe her parents were right all along.
When she finally opens the letter her grandfather left for her all those years ago, everything seems to fall into place. Moving to Stardew Valley felt so daunting, and yet when she first stepped onto Strawberry Farm, it was as if she could hear Grandpa's voice in her ear, whispering "Welcome home."
Before she knows it, Arlo is being thrust into a world of magic that feels all too familiar. The awkward yet charming boy that joins her on her journey may be more intertwined in her past than she thought.
