Summary
Uhm so I was watching TikTok and saw a video that made me get a fic idea. I wasn’t going to actually write it at first but then someone asked for the link when I was done with it so I decided to write it but to make it (hopefully) really sad. ))
{Is this what normal couples said when one was going over seas? Ivan couldn’t tell you. For only a few months ago he would have cursed you out for daring to even mutter that damn American’s name infront of him. Now, however.. a strange warmth filled his chest, along with a cold longing for that stilled embrace he was once given, brought upon him with only the truest, most delicate intentions he had ever seen in a person, let alone one of these accursed so called countries.}
Ivan bowed his head, a prickling feeling at his eyes. Maybe it was tears, or maybe it was the feeling of the harsh cold air hitting his face as the boat left the harbour. He knew the boat would come back, but he couldn’t help feeling a sense of dread in his stomach, eating away at the warmth left there by the one he loves.
This was only supposed to be an interrogation. One that would leave the enemy trusting all their fellow allies.
