Atsumu knew Sakusa was a hybrid, he saw his ears once during U19 but never thought too much about it, at least not until they started playing together for MSBY and he found himself falling in love with the snarky and prickly hitter, it took months before they started getting along and a couple more before they finally got together, after that, Atsumu learned a lot about dating a hybrid, and wrote down the most important things for him to remember.

Most shifters say that they prefer to be in their animal forms specially when they are alone; that shifting makes them feel free and detached from the worries of the human world. But Sakusa feels trapped, unsure, uncomfortable even in the privacy of his own home. He could barely remember the last time he turned into a weasel; only the fear and disgust of being seen as a beast by his own family.
However, neglecting their nature is never a healthy option for a shifter.
