Summary
Christian loved. He loved desperately, despairingly, sometimes obsessively. He was also vulnerable, sometimes turning into a shell of a man – a man who had been beaten, abused, violated, abandoned his whole life. Not many people seemed to understand those things about him, and Ethan had to wonder that, if they did, if they would change their minds about the man.
Ethan also loved. He loved beyond his own comprehension, enough to turn himself in just to protect a man who he had thought had apathy for him on a level he couldn’t understand.
That, then, was the true reason he was here.
