Summary
“I missed you,” Barty says simply, shrugging his shoulders as if it was obvious.
Maybe it was. Regulus feels warmth spreading through his body at the thought that Barty had missed him. He lifts a duvet a bit and pats a place next to him. “Are you coming?”
Barty smiles before laying down. “Of course.”
Regulus feels Barty's arm wrapping around him, while he places his head on Barty’s chest and he sighs contently. He missed Barty too.
or
Regulus has been disowned and is trying to adjust to his new life, but frankly, he just wants to spend time with his best friend. Barty just wants to make everything easier for Regulus, but there are times when he's only making things harder and he can only hope that his best friend won't leave him because of that.
A journey that begins with two best friends who, somewhere along the way, become best friends and lovers.

It wasn’t a strange sight, Barty and Regulus being close. Barty would always cling onto Regulus. It was obvious he was in love with him. Regulus was better at hiding his emotions, but he still allowed Barty to touch him. He never did that with anyone else. Not even Evan.
He can’t help being jealous everytime he sees them together.
James and Evan suffers because of Bartylus. They make do.

Sharing a house with your best friends shouldn't be unpleasant. But when your best friends keep secrets for you, it's hard not to get upset and obsessive with finding the truth. For Regulus, that truth is sweet; but the process to get it is just sour.

Summary
James Potter the resident Golden Boy, the one who seems to always wear his heart on his sleeve, not that he doesn't but he does tend to hide his struggles. Not only his struggles but also his newfound crush on a certain younger Slytherin who he accidentally seems to continue to run into.
Or
The one where James Potter can't seem to go anywhere without accidentally running into the stunning, brilliant and clearly emotionally closed of Evan Rosier. Not that he's complaining. A twist of fates brings the two of them into an unforeseen situation that might just work out for all parties involved in way that none of them ever could have foreseen.

Summary
James gives his heart away too fast—first to Lily, now to Regulus. Because love should be all or nothing, should be the thing you fight for. And Regulus—Regulus who writes lyrics like confessions, a poet stitched into a rockstar’s body, is everything he’s ever wanted. But Regulus doesn’t want James’s heart, and James thinks it might just ruin him.
Evan knows what ruin looks like. Fuck, he’s practically an expert in it. He’s spent years watching it unfold between his two best friends. His own heart caught in the wreckage of Barty and Regulus’s half-hidden, half-holy, and entirely doomed love story. And still, he wants it. Wants be to be fucking wrecked. Wants the kind of love songs are written about, more than that wants to be chosen, to be fought for but unfortunately for him the person he wants doesn’t want him back and so he’s left picking up the pieces of a disastrous love story that isn’t even his.

Summary
James Potter has spent the past two years as the token straight friend in his circle: until he meets Evan Rosier. A story about a kebab shop after 1:00 AM, a football match, a river Evan didn’t mean to fall into, and a love James didn’t mean to find.
What follows is entirely self-indulgent and totally not serious: it's about music, finding where you fit, and my personal vendetta against British gay clubs.
CW: Recreational drug use.

Summary
The following work has been published anonymously, with names changed out of respect for the dead and to protect the living (and because the author’s husband would prefer to avoid Azkaban). Rest assured, however, that what follows is a (mostly) true account: this is the story of two boys who should have been enemies, the men they became, and the part their love story played in ending a war.
Praise for ‘Meet Me in the Queen’s Arms’ by Anonymous:
“A tremendous read.” — Witch Weekly, Top Twelve Non-Fiction Books of the Year
“Positively scandalous. Who knew treason could be so saucy?” — Rita Skeeter, The Daily Prophet
“I couldn’t put it down.” — Evan Rosier, former school chum and (alleged) war hero
“I’ve shagged half the people in this book. Surely that’s reason enough to buy it.” — Barty Crouch Jr., editor-in-chief, The Quibbler
“You’re gonna suffer reading this… but you’re gonna be happy about it.” — Ron Weasley, intern at Bludger and Broom Magazine (and perpetual pain the ass who still spends rather a lot of time on the author's couch considering he supposedly has a job). -

Evan knows something’s wrong the moment he steps into the pub. There’s a charge in the air—sharp, unsettled. It takes five minutes to confirm the feeling, and two more to pinpoint the cause: his best friend.
Loosely inspired by Crowley’s The Boys In The Band, this one-shot follows Evan, James, and their friends through James's birthday night out: a chaotic twenty-fours—where drinks flow, truths surface, and Pandora decides it's time everyone faced a little honesty.
CW: Drugs and Alcohol.

Barty laughed, jogged, and walked beside him again. “I’m being serious right now. You’re uncharacteristically silent. Not your usual ‘I have nothing to say’ silent, before you argue. Penny for your thoughts?”
“Well,” Evan pauses, staring ahead, “Barty, what are we?”

Blue eyes meet hazel. Steady. Watching. He’s beautiful. Unfairly so. A face almost too perfect, symmetrical and sharp-jawed. High cheekbones and full lips, a nose that would’ve made Michelangelo weep. James hates how beautiful he is. Hates how much he wants him. Needs him. It makes James feel powerless, desperate. A tight, coiled heat, desire like a rope winding through his ribs and dragging him forward.
“Do you have to go?”
The same question, always the same question.

“You alright, Potter?”
Three words. That’s all it was. Three small words. Three words that changed everything. They shouldn’t have mattered as much as they did. Shouldn’t have sent him spiralling into the mess he’s in now. But they did.
James supposed that if he had to point out the moment that his life began unravelling, truly—if he had to choose one moment out of all the moments, the one that set him on the path to destruction—then it would be that moment, those three words. Strange, really, that it was that moment. Not the heartbreak, the destruction of his soul, his being, that losing Regulus was. No. It was three words spoken by a boy he barely knew.
“You alright, Potter?”

Summary
It started, as every great love should, with flowers.
Roses, of course.
Roses for Rosier.
For three weeks straight James arranged for roses to find their way to Evan each day—delivered to the Slytherin dormitory by elf, dropped onto the breakfast table by owl, tucked neatly into his Quidditch locker. By the end of the third week, Evan cornered him, demanding to know if James was the one sending the flowers—and, more importantly, why.

When James' car breaks down half-way through an 8 hour drive, he indulges in a little self-care whilst waiting for the tow truck.
He's caught, obviously, but maybe that's not such a bad thing after all?
“So,” Evan flicked his eyes towards James as his bright grin turned into more of a smirk. “Do you often get off to watching your own pornos or did you know I’m a fan?”
“Excuse me? That’s not… What?” James spluttered so hard on his own saliva that he began to choke, and wasn’t that just spectacular. A great coughing fit just to add to the humiliation.
“That was you in the video, right? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it enough times by now to recognise you.”
“Wait… you know the video?”
Evan nodded, a little wild. “Know it? Pretty sure I wanked myself raw the first time I saw it. You were so hot in it, could really believe you were into it.”

Summary
After a brutal breakup, screenwriter Evan Rosier bails on New York and heads home to Southern California—the place he’s spent six years trying to forget, the place he ran from at eighteen with no intention of ever looking back. Only this time, something feels different. This time, Evan finds what he never could before: a way to belong. In late-night walkie-talkie conversations, backyard cookouts, early-morning surfs, and a kid who thinks he hung the moon. It’s not a whirlwind. It’s a tide—slow, relentless, impossible to ignore.
Loosely inspired by the 2007 film Shelter, this is a story of salt, sun, and second chances—of finding love, and finding your way home.

Summary
There comes a point in every child’s life when the world tilts a fraction, and the figure of a parent becomes something else—no longer the fixed point we once believed them to be, but a person with depth, with history, with fractures. For most of us the shift arrives quietly: a slow accretion of small revelations, the recognition of flaws, hesitations, half-formed choices. For others it strikes all at once, a blinding, disorienting flash in which we see, with something like grief, that our parents have been improvising the whole time. Either way, the moment is inevitable. It marks the border between childhood and everything after, and whether it draws us nearer or pushes us away depends on who we become in the wake of it.
Or Harry Potter discovers a secret from the past about his father.
