Summary
Winterfell sleeps and the weirwood watches. Sansa goes to pray for steel in her spine and finds Jaime instead—no armor, only a dirty mouth and a hand made to hold her down. Under red leaves and falling snow, they make worship out of vulgarity: dress bunched, palms braced to cold bark, say you’re mine in her ear until please is a sacrament. Every risk tastes like reverence. Every bruise comes with praise. In the godswood’s shadow, a wolf claims a lion and the Old Gods keep their secret.
