Summary
So, they made it to the surface!! And it actually looks like they're here to stay this time, gotta love that.
Unfortunately, finally reaching their happy ending doesn't exactly erase the trauma's caused by every other failed attempt, and a lot of people are still far more in the dark than they should be.
