Summary
Max had found a happy rhythm that could provide him with the intimate physical contact he craved without having to engage in an active sex life. It was far from ideal but it worked, kind of. He had worked out that guys seemed more understanding about wanting to wait for the first time so he stayed with them just long enough to get that closeness that he wanted then broke it off before it got any further. His relationships, if you could really call them that, lasted a few weeks at most. He had messed up this time though, he had gone to Charles which he knew was wrong. He had let go of so many potential partners but letting go of Charles was going to be the most difficult one of all.
