Before Steve was given the serum and changed forever, he fucking hated the doctor. He could never put his finger on if it was worse when the so-called professional openly pitied him for his chronic ailments or when they mumbled and bitched under their breath about how "unfit" he was.
After Steve's given the serum—well, okay, the first time? It's clearly a fluke. Steve hates the doctor! He knows this about himself. It's 1943, and he's just overwhelmed by how the serum has transformed his body. He's not in his right mind. In 2011?
