She had seen him worried before, mostly when it came to his patients and the risks complicated procedures included, but it had never been directed at her.
“He was a murderer”, she repeated his words from earlier, as if who he was would ease the horror of what had she seen. As if it could take away the pain. She wished it did, felt like it should, but her feelings didn’t change.
