Summary
After Yi nearly kills himself constructing the Mystic Nymph, Eigong gives him an offer he could never refuse: a chance to save his species in exchange for free tuition and a ticket out of his backwardly religious family.
But things go awry when he meets a roaming fortune teller from Kunlun, who proclaims that Yi's future may be nothing but misery for him if their prophecy of romance and betrayal comes to pass.
Yi doesn't believe a word of it. Yet he'll do anything to prove that seer - and every Taoist on the planet - wrong.
And if that means taking their prophecy into his own hands?
So be it.
