Summary

Silence met his words. Heavy, oppressive, gut churning silence. One way or another they’d all suffered by Mordor’s hand, and whether they were fighting orcs or corsairs, it changed nothing.

As a shieldmaiden of Rohan, Rhysnaur is no stranger to danger and battle, and was quick to answer Steward Ecthelion’s request for soldiers. With the Corsairs of Umbar threatening Gondor’s coast, she doesn’t hesitation to join Thorongil’s assault against them. But how will she fare, when this raid risks far more than any battle she’s experienced before?
