Summary
“Of course, buddy,” Jeonghyeon grins and slaps the brunette’s arm jokingly across the table, and Gyuvin is silently fuming inside but he decides to let it go this time.
“You know, I really thought you were going to die.” Jeonghyeon jokes, laughing and slapping the poor innocent table this time round.
“Okay.” Gyuvin responds simply to the joke, proceeding to sip on his coke, and Jeonghyeon’s laughter turns awkward. He looks very confused and extremely disturbed by the unsettling dry response.
Ricky looks equally disturbed, but laughs hurriedly in an attempt to clear the tension in the air and it is now Gyuvin’s turn to look at him weirdly.
Ricky returns him a very angry look, mouthing a What the fuck is wrong with you?
Perfect, that's exactly what Gyuvin was going for anyway. Jeonghyeon needs to be convinced that he’s a psychopath so he’ll stay away from Ricky forever and never talk to him again.
Or,
Gyuvin and Ricky have been best friends since the beginning of time, and Gyuvin always thought it’d stay that way, but things get kind of complicated when Lee Jeonghyeon comes into the picture.
