Twilight shakes his head. “Nah, you’s didn’ know. ‘S a fair question since they ain’t exac’ly subtle an’ all. I ain’t squeamish ‘bout it.” he catches the red flash of Four’s earring again, and that earlier tight feeling softens. “They be a reminder, too. ‘M actu’lly a bit fond of ‘em now, t’ tell the truth.”
Four smiles a little at that. “Yeah, I get it.”
Somehow, Twilight knows immediately that he does.
