“And now we’re in a cabin,” Jax states as Pomni lets go of him. She looks around the cabin - a front room with a small barebones kitchen, table, chairs, and a small sad loveseat sofa. There’s a door half open that has half of a bed revealed, a red quilt on the top.
“Yep.” Pomni gives him a smile and turns to the wood stove heater near the kitchen, a small pile of logs next to it. The jester opens the heater and throws a log onto some smoldering embers, fanning them until the log’s bark starts to glow red.
“Why are we in a cabin?” Jax asks, feeling both annoyed and nervous from her short and curt answer.
“Cos you don’t like being in dresses. And I like taking you out of them.” Pomni gives him a smirk that has his heart racing and his tight dress making something down below very obvious.

Jax didn’t mean to get so attached to Pomni, but then, he didn’t expect to get so attached to Ribbit either, back in the day.
A Jax backstory in which he falls in love with Ribbit and gets his heart broken, leading him to the inevitable self sabotage of Ep 6. His relationship with Ribbit parallels his disastrous feelings for Pomni, as well as his pushing her away.
