Kyojuro has been told he didn't win the life lottery considering his mother being dead his father being an abusive alcoholic and his little brother unable to use breathing styles. Even then Kyojuro would still say that he was very blessed. Sure, Kyojuro will say that some parts of his life were bad but some parts were just as good. He loved all of them. He was fine with the life that he had as he thought he was lucky to be born to such a mother and to have his little brother by his side. It's a life he knew many would be jealous of and would never take it for granted.
